Why being good is a near synonym with “looserism” is something I don’t really get. I mean seriously, being good is essentially treating people well and caring for their feelings. But probably caring too much is mixing up priorities and that’s exactly where the good guy falls flat. Too many good guys believe that to be good, they have to be dumb, weak and sensitive. This inadvertently turns out to be the bad guy’s advantage. The bad guy doesn’t care what people think, he’s the type who used to flout all the rules at school, hang out till late at night with friends and spend away his parent’s hard earned cash on drinks and smokes. Good guys on the other hand came back when expected, stayed mute in class, and allowed the bad dude to walk all over him….just because he was told not to fight.
Getting into the Bad boy’s head A bad guy knows what he wants, and he gets it by hook or crook. Their self image is based on false pride, attitude problems and a larger than life projection of themselves when it comes to socializing and mixing. These are the kind of people who’ve never seen a problem in life and so end up thinking that they can get whatever they want. They have that carefree (or careless) kind of attitude which is irresistibly appealing. Despite all the bad things they do, they end up getting both the respect and the accolades.
What the Girls like How many times have you heard a female spat out “there isn’t a single good guy left in this world!!!” and how many times have you seen the same female go out with a guy who can’t tell north from south. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say they had no clue of what they want! Girls like guys who are assertive and confident. Also a bad guy can keep a girl guessing by giving her the “I don’t give a damn” look. Girls look for a challenge in a relationship which a bad guy is more than happy to offer. Good guys on the other hand, become too predictable after a while so they end up being tagged as boring.
Essentially the difference is merely of guts and not of good or bad. In fact a few pointers to the good souls out there and they will see their problems disappear. First; learn to stand up for yourself: Become aggressive and assertive, its good if you care for someone else’s feelings but it should not be your only concern. Secondly; put yourself before everybody else. In their quest to be as “good” as they can the good guys end up totally ignoring themselves….wrong!!! Believe that it’s your life, your choices and your own priorities are above anybody else’s (especially above a girl who may walk out on you in the first place). Thirdly; pump up your social skills; go out and talk to some people and build up your confidence, be proud of who you are, there ain’t many of you left in this sad, bad world! Remember Bad guys rule when good guys allow it!
To sum it all up – Bad guys get what they want simply because they know what they want and there are no questions in their heads about it. Good guys conversely, know what they want but bother too much with ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’. They end up creating too many obstacles for themselves which drains away their confidence and leaves them hanging in the balance. So there; you are a good soul which means your place in heaven is reserved; now you got to make a place in this world which really isn’t that hard. Half of the war is already won as you are basically a good human being, all you would want to work on is being damn proud of that and then letting people know that you are far better than that show off jerk!
